Denver based photography specializing in Senior Photos
Senior portrait season is, without question, my favorite time of year.
There’s something special about working with seniors. They’re standing right on the edge of an exciting new chapter—part celebration, part anticipation, and completely full of possibility. It’s a season of life that deserves more than a cookie-cutter photo session.
Before becoming a professional photographer, I spent my career as a television executive, where storytelling was at the heart of everything I did. I also earned a master’s degree with a focus on branding, and while that may sound like an unusual path to senior photography, it’s actually the perfect fit. Why? Because great branding starts with understanding what makes someone unique.
And let’s be honest—no two seniors are alike. Some are athletes. Some are artists. Some are future engineers, musicians, entrepreneurs, or adventurers. Some know exactly who they are, and some are still discovering it. That’s why I believe senior portraits should never look like they came off an assembly line.
I approach every session as a chance to tell a different story. Together, we’ll create images that reflect your personality, your interests, your style, and this once-in-a-lifetime moment. No awkward poses. No one-size-fits-all approach. Just a fun, relaxed experience and photographs that feel genuinely you.
Because twenty years from now, I don’t want you to look back and see a trend. I want you to look back and see yourself.

Yes, that’s me—a Colorado native who spent 16 years in Los Angeles before making my way back home to Denver in 2014.
My love of photography began during my undergraduate years at Pomona College in Claremont, California. Back then, photography still meant film, darkrooms, and spending hours inhaling mysterious chemical fumes. Looking back, that may explain a few things.
Like most great stories, my career has taken a few unexpected turns. Early on, I discovered a passion for comedy and storytelling through improv. That led me to study, perform, and photograph at one of Los Angeles’s premier comedy clubs while building a side business shooting headshots for actors and performers.
Then came a decade in television. I worked as a studio executive developing comedy programming for NBC and later produced projects for networks including NBC, TBS, and USA. Storytelling became my profession, whether I was shaping a script, developing a character, or helping audiences connect with a new show.
After earning my MBA from UCLA Anderson and moving into content strategy for an award-winning advertising agency, I returned to Colorado and rediscovered photography—this time with a whole new perspective.
Today, photography is where all those experiences come together. My background in entertainment, branding, and storytelling influences every session I create. In television and advertising, a single image often has to communicate an entire story—the personality, emotion, and essence of a brand, show, or character. I approach photography the same way.
Whether I’m photographing a high school senior, a family, or a business owner, my goal is to create images that feel authentic, memorable, and uniquely yours. Because the best photographs don’t just show what someone looks like—they tell us who they are.
